Peter Duncombe was the first Curator of Gardens for the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, Nevada, a world class model for stunning and sustainable desert environments.  Peter is highly regarded in the fields of horticulture and design and is recognized in Southern Nevada as an expert in water smart landscaping and irrigation techniques.  Notable is Peter's ability to integrate artistry and the science of desert landscaping with a keen focus on creating landscapes that will endure for many years to come.  A native Nevadan, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Nevada, Reno (1986) and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (2001) with an emphasis in Public Garden Management.  In the summer of 2000, Peter earned his International Diploma in Botanical Garden Management at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew near London, England.  Peter is dedicated to enhancing communities with smarter landscapes.

About Us

John Duncombe - Sales & Design Manager

John Duncombe is a talented member of the team who graduated in 2016 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BA in Landscape Architecture.  He has interned with landscape design firms and contractors and has been involved in the field of landscape design for 6+ years. John has focused on the bigger picture of landscape, as it relates to the environment and local issues facing the region, while in school developing sophisticated modeling systems and methods of presentation.  John has won student awards and recognition for his work and leadership at UNLV. In his senior year, he was elected President of the Student Chapter of the Southern Nevada American Society of Landscape Architects. John brings to Trident his youth, enthusiasm, and passion for making a difference combined with a fresh perspective and ability to develop cutting edge designs.
